CASE STUDIES

MASTER'S THESIS
The Question: Social platforms are optimized for engagement metrics, not meaningful connections. Can interface design for community participation foster genuine social bonds instead?
The Output: A conceptual community-first platform proposal grounded in eight design principles, synthesized from user interviews, platform analysis, and design exploration. Theoretical integration of third place theory, systems thinking, and transition design.

STUDIO PROJECT
The Challenge: Mitigate the impact of environmental grief. Design concepts for hope and mourning in the Anthropocene, in the field of biodiversity and natural resource management.
The Outcome: A wine brand and conversation experience built around insects: the species humans fear and ignore most, yet depend on entirely. Bottle labels, conversation cards, and mobile app designed to bring people together, surface eco-grief, and reframe our relationship with the natural world through the lens of acceptance.
